Activities and Shopping in and around Mentone

The Log Cabin Village features unique stores clustered in one attractive log cabin village.  The stores feature a large selection of functional, decorative, and unique pottery, art, antiques, gourmet coffee, food, and much more. 

The shop has a wide selection of unique gifts, antiques, and work from local artisans.  While you're there you can stop by the plant nursery, which has a wide variety of shrubs, plants, and flowers.

Little River Hardware has any hardware item you could need, as well as local pottery, wooden yo-yos, coolers, water bottles, and other local items.  Don't miss the mural on the side of the building!

Rocky Top Pottery offers handmade pottery, with a large selection of functional, decorative and unique pottery and wind chimes. 

Moon Lake Village is an artisan and craftsman village on the former campus of the historic Moon Lake School on Lookout Mountain.  The Village is located just a few minutes from Hiker's Haven!

Orbix Hot Glass is located at the edge of Little River Canyon National Preserve.  At Orbix you can design and blow a keepsake ornament. The glass blowing studio and gallery also offers classes where families can experiment together with creating their own piece of artwork and learning more about molten glass. 

The museum features over 50 years of music memorabilia. From the early days in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to the Country Music Hall of Fame, people of all ages enjoy this experience and the story of ALABAMA's history. The museum includes personal items, videos, pictures, awards and gifts from other artists. 

Big Mill Antiques is a premier antique store located in the historic, 134-year-old Big Mill Company building. The store has two stories of unique, hard-to-find, antiques from many eras, including furniture, home décor, tools, gifts, toys, jewelry, and much more. 

 This beautiful pink sandstone Richardson Romanesque architecture 1891 depot was operated by the Alabama Great Southern Railroad. It served as a train station until 1970. It now houses railroad memorabilia, Dioramas handcrafted back in 1913, Indian Artifacts, local history and more!
